Use of the Term Heathen

As a Druid of perhaps Old School, I normally use the term "Heathen" and "Pagan" interchangeably as they were in pre Twentieth Century press.

See my blog "What we so soon forget under the Druid's Tree" for a reference.

http://hoodoo-vodou-druido-grove.blogspot.com/2014/08/what-we-so-soon-forget-under-druids-tree.html

Yet Neo-Heathenism has aquire a new well accepted meaning. That of pertaining to old Germanic, Nordic and Viking religions that have be reborn as Asatru , Odlinism and others.

So here in "A Druid in Midgard"  I to will use it in its newer social context.

  2. Well Ghost Runestone the problem is the Historic time lines are way off and for most people disregard Pre last Ice age Civilizations as myths. The Truth as I see it is what today is called Druids were a pre Celtic group. And what today is known of Icelandic Civilizations are very later comers and so not even come close to touching their own Myths Timewise.

Those that can not see the High Levels of Technology in both Celtic / Druidic and Nordic pre bronze age civilizations are just casing the Easter Bunny for Truth.

Where Druids Godi / Godha to the Celtic Toutas (Tribes) yes but they were aldo much much more.

  3. So would you say it's fair to assume druidism has its roots within Nordic Traditions?
